I was very interested in your unit content because I am currently in the middle of a music unit with my 5th graders, learning folk songs that were brought to America by immigrants. Your Powerpoint gave me some more content knowledge that I could use in my classes. I liked the way you added the copywrite annotations with the pictures that you inserted. |

I love it! The free check system solves a problem that really frustrates me in class. I really like the pictures and colors in your Excel doc as well as you Powerpoint. All of the pics are thematic and make the project much more interesting. |

I liked the self/peer/teacher assessment rubric. Giving students a "lens" to look through helps them evaluate their own work and the work of others in a less biased way. I can also see those students that like to pretend being teachers just eating this up! |

I like your backgrounds on your Powerpoint. Where did you get them from? Robin, the backgrounds on my slide shows come from the online templates available through Microsoft. Simply click on file / new / Microsoft templates online (see right of screen for the last click) Your grading rubric using the QMPL sounds interesting. Have you used it before? Good luck. |

My feedback is... I like the presentation of the instruments. Also, how you use one activity like post cards. My feedback for you, Wanda, I like the way you use so many pictures to help your students begin using "grown-up" things like computers and charts. I will definetely be using your voice recording trick in my future publications. |

I also really like the participation rubric for giving others feedback because it is important for kids to pay attention to others and learn how to give good feedback. Your interactive PowerPoint is very interesting. Neat idea of the postcard. |
